They are used in the rear for taillight bulbs, or in some machines they are used as the front auxiliary lights with the main headlight bulb. You are getting 2 bulbs for 1 purchase. They are non-polarity so there's no modification or rewiring need. They are plug and play. They replace a 12v 13w bulb or similar but can range from 12-16v DC. They use less watts but are 10x BRIGHTER per watt. They are a bright white in color (6000K) and will last 50,000 hours. Be safer with brighter lights.
